Biography of Gil Veda
Multifaceted Vision Painter
Gil Veda is a noted painter, composer and singer known for his constant changes in styles and for his development of special art techniques unique to himself, which are not yet found in any books. Collectors of his works include past presidents, celebrities and people from all over the world who appreciate fine art....from Portraits to Impressionism, from Surrealism to his latest Earth Vision Art.

International artist Veda arrived in Nashville, Tennessee, while  travelling as a Continental Singer. He soon made numerous appearances at the world famous Ryman Auditorium., where he was the first Spanish artist to sing Country Music. Introduced on stage by famed record producer and steel guitarist Pete Drake, he fell in love with the city of Nashville and decided to continue his artistic career in the "Athens of the South". His first recording was with the Jordanaires, at the historic RCA Studio B on Music Row.

At the same time that he was pursuing his music, he was also developing his art. He bought a corner  property on 16th Avenue South and opened his first Art Gallery in Music City. After many years of sharing his paintings and the works of other artists with the community, he sold that building, which later became the John F. Kennedy Library and then Jack's Tracks Recording Studio. Under the production of Alan Reynolds, singers Crystal Gayle, Kathy Mattea and more recently Garth Brooks have all recorded there with much success, in an artistic atmosphere left by Gil Veda's creativity that still permeates every corner of the Music Industry.
